SILVER MYN WHITE 2007
TASTING NOTES
A blend of 77% Sauvignon Blanc and 23% Semillon. Following the Zorgvliet Wine Philosophy, "Elegance in Wine", the nose shows spice and lemongrass characteristics. The palate shows orange peel with powerful aromatic spices and a minerality originating from the Sauvignon Blanc component.

A selection of various French and local yeasts were used.
Description:
A blend of 77% Sauvignon Blanc and 23% Semillon, both varieties were harvested at optimum ripeness. The juice from both varieties was pressed and allowed to settle for two days, where after they were taken to barrel and yeast was added to start the fermentation process. Each variety was fermented separately in 100% French oak and spent a total of 35 days in new wood. Thereafter the wine was removed from barrel and blended where it spent a further 4 months on the lees in stainless-steel.
